We invite you to discover the history of the village of Taboadella. Must-see sights include the Roman winepress - one of the oldest vestiges of winemaking in the Dão region - and visiting the forest before starting the vineyard tour, which can be done on foot or in the traditional 1964 Bedford van. This guided tour also includes the winery, designed by the renowned architect, Carlos Castanheira, culminating in the Barrel Top Walk, a wooden walkway built high above the barrel room, where the wines are aged in the silence of time.
The visit ends with a Wine Tasting in the Taboadella Wine House or, in the case of larger groups, in the winery’s tasting room with access to the balcony.
